I suppose another way to deal with the rain is to simply think "it isn't raining!" Afterall, there is a whole lot of work to be done outside that one simply must get to.
For example, hauling things in your dumpster from one place to another....
..and taking your buddies for a ride....
..even when the battery doesn't work anymore.
And after that, taking a bit of a break on the swings, ....
...play set, ...
...and slide just makes sense.....
And then it is back to work again!
In fact, it does go a bit more quickly with help....
Even adults need help sometimes....
And when the day is done, putting Great - Great Grampa's tractor that has been in the family for 5 generations back in its rightful place is just the thing to do until the next rainy (or sunny) work day!
