The company that developed the type of baby chick that we purchase for the farms invited us to attend Poultry School in Niagara Falls. And even though I personally don't have much to do with the workings of the farms, I was invited to go as well. So....early in the morning we boarded our flight....(it was REALLY early!!!)
....and off we went arriving in Hamilton in the later afternoon. Our hotel was overlooking the falls and our view from the 16th floor was spectacular.
We ventured down the steep hill to get to the walkway along the parks area and experience the scenery and the ever-present mist.
Since we were already soaked, we decided to take the "Maid of the Mist" to ride into the falls........both the American and Canadian Falls....
...and go for a walk through the tunnels behind the falls. Truly spectacular!
And then it was on the trolley train to get back up the hill to the hotel. One could walk of course, but dinner was calling....
...and since we were dining at Chef Massimo Chakra's restaurant, we really didn't want to miss out. (The Chef unfortunately was not at the restaurant when we were but the food was amazing. He appears on CityLine and Food Network on a regular basis).
All in all, the first day at the Poultry School was entertaining and very enjoyable.

Now that kind of poultry school I could like...the one with all the side benefits! It looks like you made the most of your trip.
